"Cute shoes, surprise duties"
I ordered from ShopMelissa.com and, to be fair, the shoes are really cute. The product itself was totally fine, no complaints there, very calm and normal about that.
The part that made me pause was the international duties and taxes. I somehow didn’t realize they’d be that high, so when the total jumped after delivery, it was a bit of a fun little surprise that I definitely loved.

Maybe I should’ve checked more carefully, but I do wish it had been clearer at checkout. I still like the shoes, I’m just not sure I’d order from abroad again unless I knew the full cost upfront.

"Color was way brighter than expected"
I ordered these because they looked like a soft pink in the photos, but in person they’re much more of a bright coral. The shoes themselves seem fine and are actually comfortable, so I ended up keeping them because dealing with a return felt like a hassle. But if you’re picky about the color matching the pictures, I’d be careful

"Exchange took way too long"
I tried to exchange my shoes and it took forever. I kept waiting for updates, but they weren’t really helpful when I reached out. It just made the whole thing more annoying than it needed to be.

"Checkout was kind of confusing"
The site was slow for me, and when I got to checkout I got a bit confused with it. I did finish eventually, but it felt not very smooth and I was unsure what to click a couple times

"Wrong size in the right box"
I ordered these in a size 7, but when they showed up, the shoes inside were a size 6. The box label said 7, so I didn’t even think to double-check at first, which makes it even more annoying. Customer service did get back to me, but now I have to go through the whole return process and wait all over again. The shoes actually looked nice, but sending the wrong size in the right box is kind of ridiculous

"I waited around for what felt like forever..."
I waited around for what felt like forever, and when I finally asked someone for help, they acted like I was bothering them. The store was messy too, which made it feel like nobody really wanted customers to stick around or ask questions. Maybe they were understaffed, but it definitely gave off the vibe that helping shoppers wasn’t their priority.

"Surprisingly held up well"
These shoes lasted longer than I expected. I was a little skeptical at first, especially because I never really trust customer service to be much help if something goes wrong, but so far I haven’t had to deal with them at all. The shoes have held up well with regular wear, so I’m happy with the purchase

I used my usual card to pay, and it went through on the first try. The confirmation showed up quickly too, which was a relief because I always get a little nervous with online payments. No issues on my end.

"Cute shoes, but wait for a sale"
I do like some of the shoes. Cute styles, a little different from what I usually see. But the prices feel kind of high for what you get. Hard to justify at full price. I waited for a sale, and then it felt a lot more reasonable. Shipping was fine. Nothing amazing, nothing bad. I’d probably buy again, but only with a discount.

"I’ve bought shoes from a few…"
I’ve bought shoes from a few similar brands before, so I kind of had an idea of what I was hoping for. These just didn’t really do it for me. The designs feel a little odd and kind of cheap-looking, and I expected the styles to be cuter. Most of them looked a bit bulky and weird to me.

"Way too many emails for me"
I ordered from them one time and after that it felt like my inbox was getting hit constantly. A few of the updates were actually helpful, but after awhile it was just too much. I ended up unsubscribing, but I still wasn’t a big fan of how often they were contacting me

I mostly signed up because of the loyalty rewards, so that’s what I was paying attention to, and it was frustrating. When I tried to use my points, they didn’t seem to apply correctly, and support didn’t really clear things up. Maybe the rest of the program has benefits, but for me the rewards part was the whole point, and it didn’t feel worth it.

I ordered from shopmelissa.com and the tracking technically worked, but it barely updated at first. For a few days it looked like the package was just stuck somewhere, so I wasn’t totally sure if my order had actually shipped (which was kind of annoying). It did show up in the end and the delivery itself was fine, but checking the tracking with so little info wasn’t the best experience. Not terrible overall, just something they could definitely improve.

"Cute Look, But Disappointing Quality"
They looked really cute online, but in person the material feels kind of hard and plasticky, not sure how to explain it. They also had this strong sweet rubber smell right out of the box that didn’t fade very quickly. For the price, I expected better and ended up a bit disappointed.

I’m still waiting for my refund, and the weird part is I haven’t really gotten a clear update on what’s going on. I expected it to be sorted out by now, but I’m still left waiting.
